Meadowlark Little Wings

I'm about to jump into the DSP realm so this is cool stuff here guys.
I've had teh simple 2x4 for some time now but have not used it. Also do have the above mentioned Umik mic and a boom stand for t I picked up at an estate sale for tat purpose.
I also recently found the Audiotool app which is well worth looking into if you want something to measure what's going on easily.

Audiotool works nicely. You can grab a calibrated 3.5mm mic at Parts Express.

If you set Audiotool to 'average' you can accumulate samples from either a swept sine wave or white noise, and get a pretty good picture of where the lumps are in your low frequencies. Then just notch them out.

Have you tried the RT60 function? Get those ring-down number DOWN, gentlemen.

I wonder if my Umik Mic would work with my phone - not sure about power requirements - but maybe I could try the audio tool app on my kids chrome book and use the Umik there........
