Here's a few thoughts so far. The case is very good quality. Nicely machined faceplate. The blue LED is not overly bright. It has a large toroidal transformer that supplies the tube and the TPA3116D2 chip. The toroidal is shielded in it's own area of the case.
The TPA3116D2 is getting around 24vdc. That is it's max rated voltage so maybe 50watts of output? Input tube is a 5670/2C51. The unit came with a GE JAN 5670. I've swapped it out with a NOS Tesla.
The DAC section works ok but, It's a far cry from my Topping D30. The amp has a switch on the back for input selection. You can use either the RCA's or USB inputs.
Power switch and volume control feel and work great. The volume is a simple two wiper control but, It's mounted on a small PCB that will take the Alps blue upgrade very easily.
The AC section is a IEC plug and generic cord. I replaced it with a Emotiva cord I had in storage.
I've been using the Tekton M-Lores, Philharmonic monitors(modded BS-22's), Alpair 10P/Pensils and I have some Dayton B652-Airs on the way.
