My 1979 system

Pioneer RT-909

Used to own one years ago, but that one is not mine. Fluoroscan is the type of blue display you have. That's what Pioneer named it.
I do need new belts and rubber for the RTR, just no time to deal with it. Never use tape anymore, although I have a fair amount of pre-recorded material. Now that I posted the image, I guess I have to clean it up more and take it in for service. Fluoroscan info was appreciated. I really like the appearance of all that stuff.

The whole system is great, but my eye caught the B-I-C FM-10 Beam Box antenna. I have one as well - bought it in '82 and have never found a better indoor FM antenna. That era Sansui gear was exceptionally fine.

My system is "low rent" early seventies and doesn't get used that much. I've a lot of other interests and never felt the need to change anything,
as it all works. We live in a small semi and I use the front room for my "stuff" it's only 9' x 12' so everything is a bit of a compromise. I keep everything tidy, no trailing wires.

I've also a Yamaha Tyros 5 in the same room. It's my sixth electric piano.

The only real changes have been different TVs and the addition of two jukebox wall boxes sixteen years ago, plus two vinyl jukeboxes in the summerhouse.
I use the wall boxes mostly.

But I do play vinyl occasionally.

Nice, truly deserves a thread of it's own.
