This is a very good choice of amplifier kit, for medium-efficiency speaker users.
Notice point number 5, in his write up " 15 dB less negative feedback ".
On a high efficiency speaker system, 98 dB and higher, which is well set up, well wired, and fed by a good source, a person with normal hearing can hear the difference between a low negative feedback amp, ( with any small amount of negative voltage feedback, like this Pass amp you are discussing ), and a ZERO negative feedback amp.
The problem with 99% of the zero feedback vacuum tube SET amps people use ( on their efficient 98 dB and above speakers ), is that the tube amps used are simply not high enough in overall performance.. The Pass amp will possibly best them, despite voltage or current feedback in the Pass kit amp.
Now, if you have MEDIUM efficiency speakers, this PASS amp kit may very well be ideal for you !!
Have fun, I do.
