New Lii Audio F-12 series

Anyone notice this second generation F-12? I tried the first version and returned, but wonder how this one sounds.
The FS is around 59 Hz. now, up from the other one that I think was in the low 30's. They got rid of the plastic phase plug
of the first one. I didn't care for the looks of the plastic one. On the Lii Audio site, it looks to still be the first version. I sent them a note
requesting info, but no response so far.
Some info from a different site other than Lii Audio:

Lii audio's new F series full-range unit f-12, full paper cone design, small stroke, high sensitivity, typical antique horn style, mellow mid-frequency, low-frequency dive is not deep but there is a thick sound, modern The craftsmanship design retains the antique flavor and improves the resolution, changing the dull style of antique speakers. The mid-to-high frequency has a good texture, and it performs better for vocals, instrumental music, and classical music. The international standard anechoic chamber test QTS value is 0.742, which is very suitable for small baffles.

The full-range speaker does not need a crossover, it produces a single sound without phase distortion, and the sound is more natural and pure.

Our full-range speakers have tried to adjust the sound to be very balanced. It is not recommended to add a notch filter. We think that the limiter changes the horn waveform forcibly and changes the sound of the horn. The inductance, resistance and capacitance of the notch are bound to It will cause sound staining and affect the efficiency of the speaker. The full-range speaker is simple to play, and the pure sound brought by the signal pass-through does not need to be complicated. It is better to change the sound of the speaker through physical adjustment rather than the circuit. Of course, the overall quality can be improved by upgrading the speaker. So please don't use the superfluous thing like wave limiter to play full frequency! Please do not use unnecessary things like wave limiters! Please do not use unnecessary things like wave limiters!

Thats a good idea :) I haven't seen any mention of the new series on the Lii Audio site, and they never responded to my inquiry.
In the past, Lii had been more responsive.
Contacted Randy, he is looking into it, but possibly the New series as listed may not be the most current production,
perhaps a previous version? Will post if any new info....

I found this: LII AUDIO HIFI F 12 unit 12 inch full range speaker|Bookshelf Speakers| - AliExpress

According to the specs it appears to be the new F12. It has a wooden phase plug. Perhaps the Lii website is wrong?
Randy said that he did not know of them, but was going to check with his Lii contact. He has the F-12 version that
Lii Audio has on their site. I wonder if it was the first generation of the F-12?
At any rate, the shipping on them from over there was more than a pair of the speakers! It would be interesting to hear them, but I
couldn't stomach the shipping and I haven't seen any reviews from anyone as to how they sound?

According to info from Randy, the company listing the new Lii F-12 was a former distributor for Lii that Lii had a falling out with.
Also there have been fake Lii products produced and marketed as genuine! Either these NEW were a copy or a small batch of special
order speakers, but they are apparently not anything currently being made by Lii :)
I didn't see the info on the Facebook page, but I could have missed something easily. If Facebook is east, I usually head west....

Chinese 'grey market' goods are always curious - often the real thing, just 'unathorized'. Sorry to see the problem persists.

This a link to the sellers 'store'. Buyer beware methinks.

On the Lii Audio FB page, they stated that they do not sell on Ali Express. The items there are knock-offs.

That is what Randy was saying. Guess even Chinese companies are subject to rip off products...
I sure wanted to like my F-12's, but it just didn't happen. I am enjoying my old mystery Alnico woofers,
and my open baffle Tang Bands very much.

I'm curious about the Fast Ten that is on the Lii site, but the specs are not complete and appear to be different from previous Fast Tens.
