New Member from Evergreen, Colorado

Hello, I’m Gary from Evergreen, Colorado, I’ve had a vintage system for about 20 years now which consists of a Kenwood KA-9100 Amp, Kenwood KT-8300 Tuner, Kenwood KX-1030 cassette deck (bought mainly to fill out the system), Pioneer PL-71 turntable, Kenwood KC-6060A Audio Lab Scope (‘cause it looks cool 😎), Vandersteen 2Ce Speakers, and brand new to the system as of yesterday a Pioneer RT-909 Reel to Reel tape deck.

My music collection is fairly eclectic, I love Sinatra, Fitzgerald, and Artie Shaw, I grew up listening to classic country because that’s all my Dad played, so it holds a special place in my heart. I graduated High School in 1985, so classic 80’s alternative music holds the most sentimental memories for me. I love Reggae, especially the old school stuff
like Steel Pulse, Bob and Ziggy Marley, Pato Banton, and of course UB40. I also love 70’s classic rock like The Eagles, America, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac, Paul Simon, etc. I appreciate classical, but I don’t listen to it much at all, and I really dislike all Metal.777F235B-DC08-4B00-9DC1-626B2C1F70A0.jpeg

Welcome, Gary. I'm relatively new to this forum, too. That's a good line-up of audio components. Keeping it uniform with the vintage Kenwood pieces is cool. I have to look up that Kenwood audio scope.

And who doesn't get a kick out of 80's music.

You have a lovely listening room, Gary, and that sounds like a classic system!

I’m a big fan of the Kenwood ATC line that spawned that KC-6060A scope. Super cool piece.
