New pair of Vandersteen 2Wq’s

After searching for what seems to be years, I finally found a pair of Vandersteen 2Wq’s for sale within driving distance from my house! The icing on the cake is I bought them both for less than I’ve seen a single for sale on eBay and they are nearly perfect!

I’m amazed how much they have changed the sound of my system, my 2Ce’s have been reborn!

Did you also get the EQ modules with them? I almost sought out a pair of those subs myself, but then one of my "lifetime end-game" speakers came up for sale and I've since parked my 2CEs. Had a good time with them, though--no complaints!

It feels great when you finally get a piece of gear you’ve been searching for. Love your listening space too! Cheers!

How cool! I run 2ce's in my living room A/V rig, and have been impressed with the bass they put out by themselves. They are audible to about 29 Hz. But I would love to offload VLF duties to a subwoofer (or two). Since the 8" woofer plays to the first crossover point of 600 Hz, it should clean up that upper bass and midrange sound even more.

By the way, nice hat. 👍
