New Turntable (Vintage) Needs a Tonearm

I snipped three bolts and glued them into the holes on the bubble level, then cut out a Command Strip to secure the level to the plinth to cover the hole.

It looks like it's bolted into the plinth but nope. I'm pretty happy with it, particularly using stuff I had on hand.

Using a Feickert Protractor to get a handle on my cartridge installation I was nicely surprised at the accuracy of my tonearm installation on the Micro Seiki. Using a printed template from Vinyl Engine, on a little heavier than normal paper, I was within one-half of one millimeter off from from the pivot to spindle distance spec. Measure three or four times, drill once.
If I had it to do over again, I’d get the Feickert first, it’s an amazingly simple but accurate tool.
Now for the cartridge alignment!

My Micro Seiki BL-51 came looking good but missing the dust cover. I have been scouring the internet for one since and ran across one in the Netherlands and bought it. It really completes the table. Still a few things to do but it came today and what a nice Christmas present. Like it was meant to be.
