Jim says,
"I believe I’m up next to host on Saturday, November 11, 1:00 to 6:00.
The rig has a few new wrinkles (TT and SACD player) since my last meet:
A Merrill Poly Signature TT with the Sorane 12.5 arm replaces the VPI Classic SE (which will be on display and for sale) with the 10.5-inch printed arm.
Soundsmith VPI Zephyr moving iron cartridge.
Manley Chinook SE phono pre.
Marantz KI Ruby replaces the Marantz SA-7 SACD player, which gave up the ghost (also on display and priced to move as a rebuild project).
First Sound (Presence Audio iteration) hybrid line stage, completely rebuilt.
Coda S-12.5 amplifier.
Harbeth SLH-5 35th anniversary speakers.
Luminous Audio Synchestra speaker wires and interconnects.
Weather permitting I might have a rig on the deck. Stay tuned for future updates. I'll have some snacks and beverages, but feel free to bring your own favorites.
As in the past meets, a couple of classic-classical recordings from that golden age (think Mercury, RCA, Decca/London, etc) might find their way to the table, but nothing too heavy."
