Olson Jr, I like your tee shirt. I used to live a short block away from the old "Magnolia Thunderpussy" store in Columbus when I went to OSU in the early seventies. The store was more of a "head" shop that sold records back then. I am amazed to see that they are still around.
The weekend timing often doesn't work for me either, especially as much as I travel (either road trips or rallies). I don't have much to offer audiophile-wise these days so I'm a fish out of water.Another meet I had to miss. This work thing gets old quick. I think I've been to a meet here a few years ago. I haven't been to many.
Well, they've been Saturday meets for 18+ years, so that can be problematic. But don't get put off by the audio gear, I regularily say I have the worst ears in the group. The magic is in the company and conversation, I regularily say I have the worst ears in the group. The weekend timing often doesn't work for me either, especially as much as I travel (either road trips or rallies). I would liked to have hosted a small meet but even then it's a stretch as we have limited room. I dislike limiting the size of a gathering--I don't like having to exclude anyone.Well, they've been Saturday meets for 18+ years, so that can be problematic.
