DIY Onken Cabinet Build

Do It Yourself
So...looking ahead a bit, I’m trying to zero in on a crossover design. I’m thinking something around 500/600hz.

Ive heard of a Hiraga network that cuts off at 600hz that is supposed to be phenomenal but when I search all I can find is one he designed expressly for the A5. Is this the same network others are using and/or is there a better option?

Drivers will be 416 and 288k.
I think the Altec designs are all 1st order 6 db per octave until they added the midrange compensation circuit like in the n-501-8b crossover- dare I say to flatten the curve.

This is the network I referenced above, with the bonus that its been optimized for the 1005b horn which I plan on using. Are there any other modifications that need to be done since I'd be using a 416 rather than the 515 in the A5?

No dif with 416 vs 515. I use the same design and only thing I did was add an l pad for my hf

Coming along nicely! The contrast between walnut and BB will look pretty sharp too.
I heard that the mail man was good to you also?
