Folks, I just had the great pleasure of meeting George from Deer Creek Audio. George is a true audio guy, an engineer, and how I met him, a dealer for Mini DSP. While I've been running Mini DSP amps for my speakers for coming up on 2 years now, mini DSP offers so much more, and George is uniquely able to share what MIni DSP can offer. Plus, he's got a million great stories.

Please welcome George to the HiFi Haven family.

Welcome to the Haven. And what do we have here? Equalizers for Bose 901 speakers? I sold my 901s years ago when I moved to a 5.1 system in the 90s. It would be really interesting to hear what led to the development of the equalizers, and what type of improvements they could offer over the rather diffuse sound of the 901s.

Did you check out all the cool toys and options their 901 eqs provide? I'm not a 901 kinda guy, but it all seems like great fun. And yes, they are all Mini DSP based.

I started to. I'm really not a 901 kinda guy either, just bought into the hype when I was a young lad. But it certainly would be interesting to play with to see how much they could improve on the limitations of the 901s.
