R.I.P. to jaymanaa you my friend will be missed forever

One of the leading lights of DIY tubes goes out.

Jay will be missed.

I only knew him through his huge personality over at AK. RIP. I think even my father, who isn't much online at all, did a mod he championed on an HK amp I gave him.

Oh no! That is sad news indeed. Rest in peace my friend, I'll see you on the other side. :'(

I was lucky enough to have attended a couple Twangfests at his place .What a true gentleman and a great friend ,even after meeting one time. I haven't seen him in a couple years now ,but I will for sure miss him.

Fun at the Fests.

"jaymanaa was last seen 8/21/2018"

I got his last private message on 8/20/2018. It is moving to think that this message was probably Jay's last activity at AudioKarma.

May he rest in peace. An incredible loss.

From the funeral site - This quote from Jay off the Audiokarma site speaks of his generosity towards others and his sense of humor and practicality - it was his response from a member thanking him for helping and sending more tubes than needed: "I like to send extras if I have them laying around. Never seen a tombstone with a tube socket on it. Hey.................:)"
