Reel to Reel Porn

My baby. I got lucky. Fb an hour away for 1700. Plays well. Learning as much as I can to bias…. Etc… etc… my favorite medium! A serious commitment!
Hey Ricky, that is an awesome machine and easy to maintain!!! Once calibrated you won't have to touch it again unless you change tape formula's.

Hope you don't have to curb your speakers.
They're no loss. To me they are just broken clutter I want out of my life.

I did find a local place that will take old electronics, so that will help me clear out a lot of stuff I hate to throw away. All I have to do is list or photograph it all, contact them, and they'll pick it all up and take it away. I have old TVs and computer monitors, computers, DSS receivers, unrepairable components, and even the electronics from these speakers could be out of my life once I gather them all up.

I just stood up 4 or 5 computer monitors I was planning to repair on my curb. Finally accepted reality.

I still "own" this late 70's Akai. It's in a friend's basement near Chicago. He recently told me it's still in good shape.

One day (many moons ago) I was playing with closeup shots of vintage gear and converting to black and white.
