Seeing how this is probably the most popular and most often used type of camera, I thought it could be fun to see the pictures we take with these ubiquitous devices. Now, I know a lot of them are terrible, but some do take some great pictures. And even the worst camera can take a good picture in the hands of a good photographer.

So what have you got?

Mine is my girl Chelsea, Take with my Motorola Moto X 2014.

Nice shot. I can't join in this one as I don't own a cellphone. Back when I did have one nearly twenty years ago they didn't take pictures, play music, remember your schedule or text and they definitely wouldn't fit in a pocket.

Shared this in Opa's "Bass Fishing" thread already, but it's worth sharing again. I. took this on Monday while on vacation in Colorado...Williams Reservoir northwest of Pagossa Springs (it's a 22 mile gravel road to get there). That's the Continental Divide in the range in the distance. iPhone 5.

Some salsa I made last night.

one dozen Roma tomatoes, diced
1/2 Vadalia onion, diced
1/2 white onion, diced
6 cloves of garlic, minced
4 Jalapeno peppers, seeds left in and chopped
1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp Kosher salt

This stuff doesn't last long :D

Certainly no great shakes for quality, tough to get a decent picture in a very dimly lit bar. My buddy has added on to his tavern, quite a bit.

A cell phone for me is mostly an evil thing I have to be chained to for work so I'm ok with a Blackberry Z10 (it does email just fine…), but I have to admit that there are times when I'm cherishing a moment so grab the thing to snap a memory.

These are crappy shots that reflect that ‘wait, I need a pic of this!' deal but 2 I've been keeping of my oldest daughter Andrea;

I dragged her to an audio show last fall (which she says she actually liked!) and for lunch, we snuck into my favorite downtown dive (The Rex) for some Jazz. She says she can't wait to go back to this place but she might just be playin me.

And Andrea again at the local short-track last summer. I know I might regret introducing her to my 2 weaknesses music (audio) and auto-racing but she seems to love this stuff it took days last week to wipe the smile off her face after she got to sit in a pro-mod at the drag strip, then watch the same car put down low ET of the day.

Not great photography and a pretty unremarkable ‘phone' but shots I just can't delete off the thing.

The first two were taken at Montrose Beach in Chicago in January. The last one was taken from the car as we crossed Iowa on the way to Estes Park, CO. All images shot with I Phone 4S

It might be the size of the files out of that phone. I've had issues with large files...most sites automatically compress. Not sure if it's something we could fix in the site or what. I don't know how to resize on my phone.

I'd like to participate since it's the only photography I seem to have time for. A lemon I grew.
