Another bag of stones needed but got the firepit base done. Beautiful night to finish up too, kind of grounds the place with a little feel of that big yard and summer evenings at the old address.

Inspected/tested/commissioned today:
3000 HP, 2000 kW, V16 quad turbo genset. 4160/3 VAC.
Back up power for a 2000 HP mine fan. 10' diameter centrifugal, 50" WC and 200,000 CFM.
A VFD is required to start it or it will drag the local grid V down 15-20%, 15 MVA to start.

0.08 "/sec or based on 900 rpm ~ 0.003 g

This is the substation for utility/normal fan power.
And the fan motor.

get a group buy together for your neighbors: genset/xfmr switch $600k, you'll need a 2500 kVA 4160/240 xfmr another 100-150 $k.
The utility may let you step down to 2400 and tie into their grid but you'll need additional relaying and big $$$ vacuum circuit breakers.
Can supply 100 homes easily, $7k / home :)

Inspected/Tested this today in order to issue approval to operate.
Remote operation of a long wall coal mining machine.
Cuts 3' D x 7.5' H x 1400' long
1 pass = 800+ tons of coal, 35-40 minutes

X axis = L = 1400' (209 roof shields x 6.6')
Y = D = +/- 3.25', 39" (top is error, bottom is correction needed)
Error ~ avg. 1.5' over 1400'!!! 0.1%
