Hi Folks. I need a couple of 6-pin tube sockets for my 300B build. I can find those white ceramic ones but I'd like something of better quality. Striking out on all of my usual sources so far.

Fwiw,
I’ve used the teflon type and do like the way they grip the pins. If you use some kind of connector to wire it can get busy. Soldering works but have to shape the wire with care. I replaced ceramic with teflon because removing valves was difficult.

^^Dan's got the right idea, here. Those Johnson ceramic sockets are far superior to any of the new production knock-offs, and the Amphenols are unbeatable... though I'd look for some with mounting plates / retaining rings included.
