The poor-man's Esoteric they call it.

This thing is built like a tank. Sounds awesome. Has very good Burr-Brown DAC. I literally only own about 30 CD's any more and it just doesn't get used. I am the original owner and I bet it has less than 25hrs on it in it's life. I have the original box and packing and paperwork etc...

$550obo + shipping. PP F&F Preferred.

Here is a bunch of their words and pics. I'll post actual pics soon.

Award-winning performance from TEAC

Great sound always starts at the source, and TEAC's PD-H600 Reference Series CD player clearly delivers great sound in spades. Whether adding it to your existing system, or pairing it up with TEAC's outstanding AG-H600NT stereo receiver, the PD-H600 reveals layers of musical detail on your CDs with a certainty and finesse that has garnered it The Absolute Sound's 2010 Golden Ear and Editors' Choice awards.

"...this Teac player came across as immediately engaging, musically speaking, surprisingly transparent, and exceptionally easy and refined in overall character, tone, and, for lack of a better word, control. It rendered a fine sense of the hall's depth and breadth, and a strong impression of the orchestra's 'presence,' with very good air and a precise focus that never sounded etched or 'digital,' in the bad sense of the word. And yes, the bottom-end response was indeed impressive-taut, yet tuneful, controlled yet not artificially tight sounding, viscerally powerful, and quite airy".
—Wayne Garcia, The Absolute Sound, March 2010

Massive sound from a versatile, space-saving design

The PD-H600's small size and big sound may catch you off guard at first. You'd normally only expect performance like this from a full-size component. But don't be fooled — TEAC loaded this compact player with sophisticated Burr-Brown processing, a beefy toroidal transformer, and other high-end goodies that allow it to belt out your tunes like the big boys. The player's sleek, brushed aluminum front panel gives you easy access to basic functions without a lot of extra stuff getting in the way. And with the supplied full-function remote control, you'll have command of popular features like repeat play and direct track or file access without getting off the couch. This player handles a variety of discs, ranging from regular CDs to home-burned CD-Rs filled with MP3 and WMA files.
