Hey guys, this is a little bit of a catch-and-release for me. NuPrime Audio DAC-10 in silver. I just got this as an off-dealer demo (long term demo, former dealer) back in February and it works and sounds AWESOME! I won't go into details, but you can read about it here:
I bought this for use in a 2nd system and I am ONLY selling because I decided I needed something with a pair of balanced analogue inputs for my phono stage. Otherwise this would be going nowhere! It has tons of inputs, 2 coax, 2 optical, USB, 2 SE RCA etc... and is a great DAC/PRE. I have been very impressed with all my NuPrime gear.
I'm pricing this for a quick sale $850 shipped (I paid more for it in Feb) anywhere in the lower 48. It sells for $1495 new (Note this is the non-H version). Only flaws of any kind are a missing "dummy screw" and a few scratches on the bottom side of the remote. Easily fixed, but I just didn't take the time. Includes all original boxes and packing and manual and power cord etc...
If you want to have it TDSS modded I can drop it off to them next week when I'm picking up my TDSS modded NuPrime STA-9 amplifiers and they will do the mods for me for the discounted rate of $225 (normally $300) plus shipping. I was going to have this done before I decided to sell. You can read about TDSS more here:
Many NuPrime owners really like the TDSS upgrades. I have them on my IDA-16. This is out of warranty, but if you choose to do the TDSS upgrades, they include a lifetime labor warranty and a new 1yr parts and labor warranty. It's worth noting that TDSS is THE NA authorized service center for all NuPrime products. That is, even if you had a brand new NuPrime product purchased from somewhere like Audio Advisor, TDSS does all warranty service etc... they are THE EXPERTS.
Holler with questions. But as a stand-alone DAC, or a full DAC/PRE, this is a really really nice unit. Tons of value here.
