Here they are. They are the earlier version stereophile liked. Back plate is brittle with age and was broken. Took a lot of gluing and then some trusty duck tape for reinforcement. I fabricated jumpers and then realized they aren’t needed.
[edit: turns out you DO need them; user error in installing them on 1st go round; now sound even better!]

Pretty clean; one crunched lower back corner and a few faint plant rings.

Running them with my lance Cochrane EL34 amp—lots of SPL.

Will give them some time but nice and detailed so far. Stereophile said musical and I’m hearing that. Will they unseat my 604s? Unlikely but who knows:)

Pretty sure you can get new back plates from Madisound or Parts Express and add the fuses to them.

Umm, not to change the subject but do I spy a pair of blonde Cain & Cain jammed in the corner, off-line and sadly neglected (4th and 5th photos)?

Ah, I thought they might be Terry’s Big Ben Intermediates, similar cabinets but the drivers are wrong.
