And I have a pair of Tangents in the trunk.
Excellent! Can't wait to hear your thoughts. And I have a pair of Tangents in the trunk.
And the RS4's are up and running! The system has been off for a few days, so I'm letting it warm up before making any concrete judgements.
Oh, and I'm running them presently with some VERY thin, 70's vintage, grey sheathed speaker wire. Being British and of the era, they lack binding posts. They give you your choice of either banana plugs (spaced too far apart for the double bananas used in North America), or a weird connector, with two flat spades at 90 degrees from each other. The gent threw in this wire, so I figured I'd give them a try. Certainly are easy to use, if nothing else.
I have the original Tangent stands, which look very much like those. There are brad-point spikes, about 1/4" tall, projecting through the top plate, on which the speakers sit.
@Ernie do you have a picture of those stands? I'd love to find a pair!Checking in with "Living Room System Satisfaction Status".
The Tangent RS2 driven by the Schiit Saga - KingKo KA-101 combination continues to please. The new tube set has settled in and sounds very good.
Level of satisfaction remains high.

@Berkeley Time to get out the wire coat hangers? 😁
Mr. Prime Minister

Sending smoke signals again, are ya? 😁"My amp blowed up real good!!"
