Sold Technics EPA-101T Plusarm Tonearm

Has Been Sold
Hi,

I am selling here a lovely Technics EPA-101T tonearm. This tonearm was sold during the mid-70's as an add-on to the original Technics SL-1200/SL-120 turntable. Instead of being mounted on a plinth, it is modular, being attached by a clamp to the side of the plinth. It will work with any plinth that is 40mm or less in thickness (not compatible with SL-1200MK2 or later).

This tonearm is in good overall condition, and comes with the original box, manual (in Japanese), alignment gauge, original headshell, counterweight, auxiliary weight, and screwdriver.

I recently bought this tonearm from Japan, but I just can't justify keeping it, as I don't really have a use for it. I am not sure if this was ever sold in North America; it may have been sold only on the Japanese market. This is the perfect item for Technics enthusiasts or collectors!

I am asking $250 shipped and insured within the US. International buyers, please inquire.

Thank you!
Ben

Sold on USAM, that was faster than I expected!
Was that the same one I got a notification for on my ebay EPA search? That's such a neat arm, I've looked at them in the past but never had a table that it would really work with.

I was about to respond 'Nope, I didn't list it there', only to remember that I DID in fact list it there! So yes, that's probably the one. Thanks for the reminder, or I would have forgotten to delete the listing! (I always manage to forget in at least one place)

That's basically the same issue I had, all the tables I would have wanted to use it with were too thick for it to fit. Unfortunately it seems like most tables fit into that category.

That’s a slick arm!
Thanks, I thought so too! Definitely a unique one.
