Congrats. I had a pair of Pendragons a few years ago. Let us know what you think. You have a prime candidate there for some low powered tubes...........
I get Zu and Tekton mixed up 
I have only one experience with Zu Audio speakers. I traveled 3 hours one way with the intention of buying a pair of Soul Superflys. After auditioning them I had to say "El Paso". Just didn't do it for me..........

The color is burgundy. They really have a nice fit and finish.
They are supposed to be efficient. I'll try tubes on them at some point.
The Zu's are more like the Lores. Zu's down fire the port, Lores are front fire.I get Zu and Tekton mixed up
I have about 8 hours on them so far. I'm going to give them plenty of time to come in. They already changed some. I have the Marantz 2230 doing the burn in duties. Both the speakers and 2230 could use the run in time.
I did a total recap a while back. I haven't used it much.
M-Lores are improving by the hour.

Getting close to 25hrs. in. I changed over to a Maggie EL-84 push-pull 9304 that needs a rebuild and 8ohm outputs installed. It's driving the M-Lores no problem. I'm using a passive pre too. The Lores have opened up quite a bit. With the Marantz I liked running a little higher volume. With the Maggie I love the lower volume. Damn sweet so far. I need to rebuild the Maggie! I'll get to the TPA3116/linearPS maybe later today.

So I have over 60hrs. on the M-Lores. My expectations have been exceeded. They play well with my amps, each a different flavor. The advertised range of 38Hz to 20Khz seems to also be covered. My hearing can't do the extreme HF but , the LF is there. Bass is clean, tight, quick, and controlled, no need for subs. Mids and Highs are very detailed. Air, space, decay, and live or room of the recording are clearly felt. Stage and imaging reach beyond speaker placement. They have represented well with any type of music I through at them. You can listen to these all day. I also think they would be even better with some upscaled amps than what I'm using. I forgot to mention that for all the music a Topping D30 DAC/Tidal HiFi/Masters were used.
The TPA combo would make a great Doorway setup. It drove the M-Lore with authority. I did find it a little dry for my tastes. I think a tube pre would make this combo very nice.
The 9304 is in need of rebuild but, It did bring the tube goodness to the combo. I used a Schiit SYS passive pre with the 9304. The M-Lores seem to be efficient enough for a SET/SEP/SEUL amp. I need to get off my a$$ and build a new tube amp.
The Marantz 2230 gave the best performance out of the amps I have. Detailed enough to pick out everything and smooth enough not to cause fatique. Just a sound with the M-Lores that you can listen to at high or low volumes for hours at a time.
The only fault I can find, the speakers are short. At 34" height the 8" driver is placed at 29 3/4" and Tweeter at 23 1/4" above floor with the included spikes. I did solve the problem with a slight tilt back of the speaker.
The Tekton M-Lores are keepers! Very enjoyable speakers. They won't be going back.

I'm assuming when you rebuild the 9304 you are going to work with Dave G.'s schematic?

Nice review Mark - these are really interesting as they occupy that low-power amp friendly/small-footprint space that seems so limited option-wise.
How sensitive are these and do you know what kind of a load they are? Maybe usable with 2A3 or single-ended EL84?

I have Dave's build bookmarked. Also have the pages with the upgraded OPT's. Not sure when I'll do it but, It's in the to do list.
They are 95db 1W@1M. 8ohm average impedance. I don't have the 2A3 mono blocks to try anymore but, I think they would work. I'm going to dig out my part boxes today and see what I have to build a SEUL or SEP amp.
Well done, Mark! Definitely sounds like a speaker that could be both a Doorway candidate and also at home with higher end SE amps.
