The Bourbon, Rye and American Whiskey Thread 🥃

Another fantastic creation by JD! A great time in bourbon history to be alive in. And there is talk that this may be a permanent staple in their lineup!!

It sits at 100 proof, with the complexity of a 115 or higher bottle. Heavily toasted with a light char, makes this is a fantastic pour!!

I’ve not had the Fitz yet, how’d you like the JD?
The old fitz is good but the ones 10 years or less arent anything special. Definitely not worth secondary prices, maybe not even msrp.. Watering down some Larceny barrel proof gets you pretty close. I’ve also tried the 11, 14, 19 year… now those are special 👍🏻

I liked this heritage JD… especially considering that it’s supposed to be shelfer. My intial thoughts were… younger marshmellowy JD10

Oh man this must be fantastic, I like the 1910… this must be even more 1910er 😁
It was!!! I sincerely regret not buying more bottles, as the limit was two per person, per day, and I was already counting a few bottles from other distilleries to fly back home (and didn’t want to exceed the legal limit for a flight).
