I always thought it sounded better in Dave's system, than his Tercel, even after the Tercel upgrades. Benz Wood cart(L?)/SME 309 tonearm/SOTA Sapphire vacuum platter/Blueberry with Cream/VRDs/AN Js.

For Sale: My "less than a year old" Naim 5si. I've been consistently downsizing, simplifying. I've moved from 200wpc Musical Fidelity, to Rega Brio and finally found the Naim after a lot of shopping and listening. I'm still very impressed with the sound quality at high and low volume levels but I'm at a crossroad between SS and tubes, the next part of the journey. The prudent thing to do is sell my Naim BEFORE I buy the tube integrated which now is a toss up between the Line Magnetic 216IA, Primaluna Dialog Premium and finally the Cary SLI-80 integrateds.

The Naim is pristine, no damage or scratches that I can see. Retail price for the 5si is $1795. I'd like to get $1295 shipped on my dime anywhere in CONUS and I'll pick up the Paypal. Thought I would post it here first with pics to see if there is any interest. All original documents and box.

Pardon the dusty top on one of the first photos but I wanted to get these up before quickly. More pics upon request.

If anyone is looking for a phono stage, here's my Blue Circle BC27pi. I bought it from Goldstein several years ago, and haven't used anything else since. On a whim last week, I ordered a Vincent PHO-8, which came today (hooked up, but not played anything through it yet- in a few minutes).

The Blue Circle has a separate power box with a damn big torroidal x-former in it- here at my house, it stays powered up continuously, no reason to shut it down and wait for that x-former to warm back up. It's supposed to magically know MM from MC, I have no idea how, but that's what Gilbert Yeung, Mr. Blue Circle sez. If you go inside the unit, there are selector switches for low and high gain. Not sure what the ranges are, but I can look in the manual if anyone wants to know. Meaning, yes, I have the manual, and probably have the original box out in the apartment, as well. Photo pretty much tells the story- it's basically unmarked, unmolested, and does what Gilbert intended it to do.

No idea what its value is. It wasn't a cheap piece new, and was still pricey for my limited means when I bought it. Give me your thoughts, if you're interested, and I bet we can work something out, as long as you don't want it for a can of Star Kist and a short PBR.

I think we can remove these from the "For Sale" section. ;)

It's time for 604's, so I have to raise some cash.
Eminence Beta LTA12 with phase plugs. 80.00 shipped conus
6SL7/6V6 SE E-Linear tube amp. 500.00 + shipping (build thread in tube section)
Mark Audio 10P/Pensil speakers, CNC cabs 275.00 local @ this time.

Beta LTA's are sold. Mark Audio 10P/Pensils no longer for sale.
This just leaves the amp. :)

I've got a Wyred4Sound 3 meter AC power cable I don't need in the new smaller listening room. I am and will be a proponent of the differences good cabling can make in a system. I paid $200 and really am just looking for something of comparable quality, and only need @ 1 to 1.5 meters. Am open to other trade ideas if you have any suggestions. Lightly used Grado Gold or similar would be cool.
This cable is quiet and neutral. Noise rejection is superb.

BTW, I know Gilbert (he's a local guy in my neck of the woods) of Blue Circle and he stands behind everything he sells. A great character, and a great guy to deal with. He really cares about every piece he sells. His stuff is the best type of boutique audio.

I'm for having names in your signature, just as soon as I can figure out how to have one. See, the PM is saying Gilbert like everyone knows who Gilbert is. I don't. Is he Bacobits, Tentoze or TubeHiFiNut?

Not sure if that is really a question, but I believe Gilbert Yeung of Blue Circle Audio is not Bacobits, Tentoze or TubeHiFiNut.

Yes, Gilbert is THE Gilbert of Blue Circle. Designer and chief bottle washer. And all around great guy. Sadly, he is not a member here yet, but maybe we need to correct that!

Selling a pair of 3m DNM Resolution speaker cables with banana plug terminations and a 1m pair of DNM interconnects. Would like to sell together; asking $215 shipped for both. Both are in great condition with low use. Paypal gift only CONUS only.

Livestrong has some really nice stuff for sale over at BT @ AK including a iFi DSD rig. I hesitate to cross post.

Offering a pair of original Radian crossovers from the 5215B coaxial drivers. I believe these are the 324/15 model, but there aren't any model codes on them. They're 2-way and assuming they're the 324/15, they XO at 1250Hz at a 12dB/octave slope, and can handle 500W of abuse. In perfect functional condition, I just don't need them anymore. These sell for $129 each at US Speaker. I would take $80 US for the pair. They're pretty heavy so buyer should pay shipping, if needed.

Would consider trades - tubes, headphone amp, good vinyl, etc.

Was a Benz H2. Not sure if I had the Nova yet or if it was still the Saphire. Know Ernie preferred it, even I did on many things. Some days I wished I never sold it..
