The @ feature.

It seems that the @Havenite feature doesn't work for me or that I am simply misunderstanding its function. I thought that when someone uses the @ sign that the @member would be notified. Is that not correct? I sometimes see that someone addressed me but I don't believe I received a notification of that.

Hey!. So what practical difference is there between using the @ sign and just "watching" the thread? If someone responds to a thread that you are watching you (hopefully) get notified. Same as if they used the @ sign correct?

@Wntrmute2 will get you an "alert" (that little bell thingy at the top right on a thread)/notification that someone (in this case, one @mhardy6647) mentioned you in this thread.

I don't "watch threads"* so that's the only way I know someone's talkin' 'bout me... ;)

* I mean, I watch them but I don't "watch" them -- this internet stuff is so subtle and yet so complex. ;)
