Hey Dave, @golana is right. The aluminum channel came from Thomas in a kit of parts that I got from him.
The same site has some nice looking clamps that might work well as capacitor clamps.
Clamps
I like scapulas so much, I bought the whole company.Better than Scapula City, I suppose...
Careful fellas, you have no idea how big a fan I am of UHF! This could really go off the rails!
What seems to be difficult? It LOOKS straightforward.Remind me not to build anything with an Amphenol umbilical again. These things are an exercise in not fun.
I did finish the thing but I forgot to take a photo.
Thanks Anthony. My first wish for this amp is just for it to work, right out the gate... I don't doubt that it will sound good, once it's sorted, because it's a great circuit. And at that point, I'll probably be wishing I could keep it. However, I've been at this thing much longer than I wanted to be so it'll be great to pack it up and send it on its way!Nice and clean layout there Nate. You’re going to have a hard time letting that one go.
Thank you! The extension is for an Elma selector switch which will sit toward the back of the amp near the inputs. That's one of the next things I'll wire up.What's that shaft extension in the lower right hand corner, above the big Bosch MKP cap?
Very nice layout, clean and efficient.
