I was going to ask what you thought of the D90. Seems to be the consensus opinion, and one I share with regard to the D30 Pro.
Well, I got it (used) for less than 50% of the retail price, and it is the non-MQA version, so I'm calling it a win.
That is a win any way you slice it, those aren't as plentiful on the used market as they once were.
BTW - the Backup/Restore function worked perfectly for me in updating to the Moode 8 series.
In the past I had always just manually re-entered the Settings with major version upgrades, as I'm pretty darn familiar with them at this point. I can blow through it in a couple of minutes, however this time I asked myself why I wouldn't just give the backup/restore a go and see how it turned out? Seconds after booting the new image and hitting Restore, I was fully in business.
That was with the UPnP Renderer, YMMV with Squeezelite, but I doubt it.
