Today's Jazz Playlist

Do you still find this to be as satisfying as we did at Axpona? I still can't get my fill of this release!

It is a great one, every time I hear it I remember how much I liked that room and the tunes he was playing. Simon and Garfunkel, The George Russell Sextet, Dr. John's Gris-Gris.

Gets good reviews from others but on my rig it sounds like it was recorded in a stadium. Click, click, next.

The piano doesn't sound bad, but the bass and drums do.

YMMV

A fan of Michael Blake from his Newvelle recordings. Discovered this one during a Newvelle listening session hosted by Elan Mehler.
Captivating. Blending jazz, blues, and roots music. A richly textured listening experience.
My favorite album this week.
