*****Edited on 7/24/2019 to reflect the change in speakers to the Harbeth Compact 7ES-3 in the Livingroom System*****

I'll try to post the various manifestations of my AudioADD here in the Member Systems room.

Got the Thorens TD-124/Ortofon RMG-212 back from Golden Gate ER a couple of weeks ago and finally found the time to mount a DL-103 up and dial it in. Also added a thick rubber mat to take care of any magnetic attraction between the TD-124 ferrous flywheel and the DL-103.

Here are a couple of bad phone camera pics until I can get some proper pics taken.

The rest of the system remains the same.

I'll post listening impressions in the All Things Analog room on my TD-124 thread.

As always, more to follow. :)

Here is the updated system as-of today.

Addrd pics of the Grace G-660P (along with the ET II) on the Micro-Seiki RX-1500VG. Both arms have Denon DL-103 LOMC cartridges mounted.

Picked up the Concero HD DAC from billfort - thank you, Bill. :)

Thread to follow in the Digital room after I have listened to the Concero for awhile. Even upon first listen though, the Concero HD is a MUCH better DAC than the Schiit Modi Uber. More to follow.

Also trying out a MacBook (Core 2 Duo with 8gb of RAM) for Tidal and Deezer. Will try HQPlayer and Roon to see if I can upsample to DSD.

Might even have to try some hi-rez downloads. ;)

The Thorens TD-124/Ortofon RMG-212 currently has a Shure SC35C with an N35X stylus.

The Quicksilver SUT, Phono Preamp, Dual Mono Line Stages all remain in place as do the CazTech SE-845 amps and the Klipsch La Scalas.

All in all, I am extremely pleased with how this system sounds. Very musical and transparent at the same time.

Looking good David! Really like the way that new arm worked out - must be cool to compare the same cartridge (one I just love) in 2 arms getting the job done in such different ways.

Thought you might like the Concero; pretty amazing with PCM and it gets better...you do have some DSD to try right?

Still have to download and install HQPlayer and Roon. Trying to decide if the Core2Duo processor in the MacBook might work better than the little AMD processor in the Lenovo.

In the interim, Tidal and Deezer sound pretty darn good. :)

Thank you, again, for deciding to part with the Concero. Pretty amazing DAC.

Nice system David......Bet it sounds super nice!
Thank you..... :)

I've always been very confident that I can get great performance out of my analog sources

Now, thanks to the tutelage of billfort , I might actually get digital to approach the same level. :)

It's an ongoing process..... :)

Added the Oppo BDP-93 recently. :)

Really impressed with how it handles SACD discs. High-res digital is not too bad. Still not analog.....but not too bad at all. ;)

The current setup is extremely musical and involving while still being transparent. Kind of a nice place to be.

TubeHiFiNut , of all the pics I've seen of your man cave gear, the Belle Klipsch add a stunning look, one of completion (but I know that's not so 'cuz this is AADD thread). I don't know that I have ever seen a pair of Klipsch that I like. I was aware of the Belle but don't know that I paid much attention. Beautiful loudspeakers, gear and system.

Thank you, my friend. :)

The Belles sound very, very good as they are but I am still eager to get the upgraded Volti mid and HF horns.

This is, after all, AudioADD. ;)

Listening to the University 6201/JELabs OB enclosures (from the je2a3website: http://jelabs.blogspot.com/ ) driven by the Almarro A205a for awhile. Set the OBs up to test the Nobsound amp and figured that I might as well enjoy them for awhile.

Very nice and very pleasant music emanates from this combination. Not a heavy metal set up but Jazz, Classical and Prog Rock sound wonderful. :)
