Here is my humble addition to the tread. A Luxman PD-300 with a Sumiko Palo Santos Presentation cartridge and Jelco Tonearm.
R.O.K. with Denon DL-102. Had a TD124 that I rebuilt from the ground up with a little drift that I could not nail down but a lovely TT nevertheless. This one here is not that far behind. Music just jumps out full and dynamic. $700 investment.

Alfred is a character, and an incredible craftsman. For anyone with an SME arm that needs anything (including full-on witing upgrade or metal restoration) he's the dude.
