What did you get from your Secret Santa?

ween to tour; calling all @redboys

Presale was… brisk.

Lots of folks on FB griping about being on at 10 AM and not getting tickets for various shows. I got in at 10:08 and of course everything for Newport, KY was sold out.

Going to try again Friday for the public sale. We’ll see.

I got two general admission tickets for Newport, KY!

This will be my first time seeing Ween live after being a fan for decades.

Hey fellas, let's say someone wanted to try Ween out, where would they start? The Mollusk?
The Mollusk is a good one. Chocolate and Cheese would be another. They're polished enough to be fairly accessible but weird enough to be genuine Ween...

If you like what you hear there, go to Pure Guava for some earlier, browner Ween.

Thanks Nate!

The whole household minus the critters caught the Saturday show in Philadelphia when they came through in December. They absolutely rocked and were as tight as ever. It's funny after growing up a short drive from New Hope that it still took me many years to get my wife to go see Ween. Far to many spins of The Pod and Pure Guava in high school left it's impression on her.

I’ve not been to a show, but my take is that fan base is aggressively male. I’ve never, you know, met a woman with a Boognish tattoo.

I’m embarrassed to say that the only Ween song I know is the song at the end of the Sponge Bob movie.

That's a good one.

Another important Ween song that you've never heard is the ad jingle that Pizza Hut rejected, called "Where'd the Cheese Go?".

Ween and the ad agency representing them were fired from the project, so they released the song and a NSFW version of it...

Apparently Pizza Hut knows as much about Marketing as they do about making good pizza.
