Ugg, I had to shut this one off. There are a few streaming files that sound terrible on my system; this is one.
My wife even asked what happened to the music as she found it grating.
Bummer, as I had always enjoyed this album.

Because I wanted to hear a few more cuts, I started adjusting EQ on this recording.
I am surprised that I can add this much bass just to make it sound normal, and it does not sound muddy/stuffed at all.
I often wonder if there are phase issues on digital releases?

I saw this entire album performed live at the Royal Oak Music Theater, in Royal Oak, MI circa 2009. One of the best concerts I was ever witness to.

Jethro Tull - Under Wraps
Being the Tull completist that I am, the "Unwrapped" version is dropping soon so I thought I would introduce myself to this album again. I never liked this album. The collaboration with Peter John Vettese and all those synths and drum machines sucks. SUCKS! The new release was re-recorded with REAL drums and remastered. Of course, I preordered weeks ago with an arrival date of May 15. Yeah, I love and hate Tull.

The Raven +3dB is killing this. 24 bits of dynamic WOW, no to mention percussive slammage, not to mention Davis' horn's hard-to-nail timbre.
