What are you watching right now?

Let's see... Vanishing Point's car was a Challenger. Gone in 60 Seconds had a Mustang. Popeye Doyle drove a Pontiac Le Mans in The French Connection. Bullit had a Mustang and a '68 Charger, this looks like a '69. Process of elimination leaves that Peter Fonda flick as the only really viable candidate. I vote Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry.

Wow that brings back memories. A movie that one will never forget the ending. Like WTF? Left open for interpretation.

Peter Sellers has always been a favorite but Being There proved just how good he really was. A quality work from the script to the ending. He should've been awarded that Oscar for best actor. Imho this was his life's achievement.

Being There is one of my "once a year movies." I can come up with a few different thoughts about the ending but I feel like I shouldn't list them as I'm probably as clueless as others regarding that scene. Did Hal Ashby ever talk about it?

edit: You nailed it @JoeThePop . I just googled it -
Director's View: Director Hal Ashby remarked that the ending "means whatever you want it to mean," intentionally leaving it open to interpretation.
