What's in your glass?

Will try the flight tonight.

The Penelope & Old Ezra were 50% off, and the Watchpost, (I’ve never heard of) they had open samples and it, was only $23 after discounts from $36

Curious about your take on the Ezra, and how it compares to the Penelope.

My notes from tonight. My fav is definitely the Penelope. It has complexity and very enjoyable in my preferred taste buds. The cinnamon is great and lingers throughout without being overbearing. I’ll prob go back and buy another bottle or 2 with them being 50% off

Old Ezra was kinda boring, but still had flavor.

Penelope barrel strength
  • sweet. Warm. Cinnamon. Not too spicy. Creamy. Bread.

Old Ezra 7yr Barrel Strength
  • spicy but not alcoholy. Pickle? Spice lingers. Not very complex

Watchpost
  • thin. Fast finish. Tea? Smooth.

Hit one of our favorite bourbon bars in St Pete last night, 1st Ave Liquors (there’s a bar “hidden” in the back of the store)…. And walked out with 3 new bottles

I need to stop. Too many too drink at the moment. With this and records it’s getting out of hand 😄
