What's in your glass?

My niece brought me a few beers from her latest trip to the Soo in the U.P. That’s Sault Ste Marie, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula for those unfamiliar with the local jargon. This one is a nice American lager brewed by Upper Hand Brewery in Escanaba, MI.

Buffalo Trace is pretty good and decent priced. But your bottle looks a bit low 😶
Having some Four Roses tonight.

Yeah just a wee bit low. I'll have to try the Four Roses Small Batch for my next bottle. It's in my price range.

Happy Friday everybody. I’ll be on the prowl for another good budget ($25 - $30) bottle of bourbon. View attachment 28920

Look for Bowman Brothers Small Batch. Also just good old Elijah Craig Small Batch. Those are some of my favorites. I actually prefer both to Buff. Trace. And I really like BT.

The Bowman brothers starts its life as the same mashbill at buffalo trace that becomes blantons, but then it’s shipped to Virginia for redistilation and aging. It’s good stuff!

Thanks Woody. A couple more added to my list.

You are an incredibly useful human being, don't let anybody ever tell you otherwise.

My boss and I got into some Blantons last weekend... I'd forgotten how much I enjoy it. I don't usually take my Bourbon neat (Scotch, yes) but it was so smooth....so good. I'll try this Bowman Brothers... curious of any similarities starting with the same mash.
