I think I may have a problem...

Very nice @Ingenieur very nice! I wanted to hear the 200s as a possible replacement for my SP100’s but never did. As things worked out, I moved in a different direction but the 100s delivered great music for the 15+ years I owned them.

I hope the 200s work out well for you. What amps are you going to use?

Another HFH detailed purchasing and procurement process, funds transferred from 4 different budgets to meet the required expenditure. Thinking outside the box.
She is a CPA, she built the box. :)
Less guilt if no primary funds involved.
At least she didn't impose an extra 2 month penalty before I'm allowed to retire. lol
Honestly, she doesn't care what I do. She knows where I came from, dirt poor, she knows I am not careless with $. After 30+ years she ought to.

Once I decide to proceed, a 2-3 month time frame. Definitely before Turkey Day.

The 1 month plan did not work out well for the DAC. Saw it, good deal, procured within a week.
:D

btw: not tri-wiring them.

My Luxman 509xi.
The 200's have benign |Z| and phase, so should work well, not to mention my typical low listening levels.
The 100's are not completely out of the hunt.

It should be able to drive anything hooked up to it. Measured eff 87+, nominal 6 Ohm measured (rated at 8)

it seem luxman have distortion graphic like that quite interesting because other usually dont have it

I’m jealous as heck. That should be an incredible combo. I’ve always enjoyed classic Spendors, so a Spendor that not only does their usual magic, but also moves enough air to have some real impact, should be a special experience. Add to that the Luxman, which is one of my favourite amps.
