McIntosh MC2500 amplifier, fresh from Audio Classics in May 2022. First of all, this is one of the best sounding amplifiers I’ve ever heard, tube or SS, and I’ve been doing this a long time. Functionality is perfect, all lights and meters work, controls are operating noise free, power guard circuits on point, the amp operates in spec and as intended. The sound from this amplifier is clean, well balanced, incredibly powerful and true to the recording. Cosmetically, this MC2500 is a solid 8. Very clean condition inside and out as you may see in the photos. Please notice that this MC2500 is not equipped with aluminum side rails, because of that, will be available for pickup in Knoxville, Tennessee. I’ll also be giving buyers the option to use a local van delivery service. Included in the sale are a new DH Labs Power 12 power cable, 6ft in length, with proper WattGate connectors, inner packing container from Audio Classics, McIntosh manual and paperwork for work performed at AC.
