Do It Yourself
@Thermionics - I would flip them sideways. I built mine narrower (26" ID, 25mm BB) than I had originally designed (WAF fear), while keeping the overall cross section the same in sq. inches. This ended up deeper cabs which in the end was more room intrusive.

The sims all say that more baffle step compensation is needed for a 20" wide baffle than for a 32" wide baffle. Listening shows that a narrower baffle needs a further stand off from the wall to sound better (which is why a lot of modern, narrow speakers sound better out into the room).

Justin just dropped off the main boxes and the pair of stands they whipped up with scrap. He still has the backs and the sub-baffle, which we're going to have CNC'd for the driver and port.

They are much bigger than those first pics looked. They mitered all the corners, then routed them out 1/4" square and inlaid maple to make them tougher. Pretty slick. They still need some final sanding and finish. We'll do that after the sub-baffles are done and we drill the holes to mount them. They did some corner bracing inside just to strengthen the joints, but these were mitered and biscuited... so they are strong. I love the way those corner pieces meet inside. Sexy. It's nice to work with guys that care about this.

The stands are pretty slick. 10" tall which should be the right height for my 604's in them. You wouldn't go this high if you were top-mounting the horns as I show with @Tsingtao_1903's H808 horns on top. They have a hole in the top so I can mass-load them if I want.

I will never get tired of seeing well mitered Baltic birch line up on corners.

Do you need a set of these polished SS carriage bolts to complete the look? Let me know.

Maybe. Thank you for the offer! I think we might use furniture connecting bolts. Perhaps the flatter head is a little more modern looking? I don't mind the hex hole in it. But domed carriage bolts are still an option too.

So is additional internal bracing not desirable with these?
TBD. I might add a 2"x2" post across from left to right or something. But this baltic seems to be pretty stiff. I never used any bracing in my 614s... but with the additional surface of these, I might.

We'll see if there is much audible box resonance when they are together...
