Sold Ocellia Calliope 16 Speakers

Has Been Sold
Offering my Ocellia Calliopes for sale. These have the E17 LB 15 cu Phy HP drivers and Ocellia silver internal wiring.

I purchased them directly from Samuel Furon of Ocellia in Canada. They were his in-shop demos. The speakers are in as-new condition and fully broken in. I have the driver covers and both adjustable spikes and ball-end feet, as well as the shipping carton from Ocellia.

Only reason for sale is wanting to try some vintage Altecs or some such. They have been incredibly enjoyable with all sources, but especially with analog records and master tapes. I know I'll miss them...

Work great in my 21'L, 12'W, 8'H room. They play plenty loud with the Fi X using 45s and an 80 rectifier.

Sort of tough to price these as so few seem to exist. The last pair I saw for sale in the States was in 2014 at $3475.00

Will sell for $3000 plus shipping and PP, or $2800 picked up at my home in Madison, WI.

Will post more detailed pics if there's interest.

Thanks for your interest; happy to answer any questions!

Okay, not much interest here. Any thoughts or questions as to description, price etc?

I'd consider trades, partial or otherwise, for Don Garber Fi integrated or preamp, other high efficiency speakers, Border Patrol DAC.

I'll list them on the other usual places at the end of the month.

Is that a REGA cd player? If so I definitely bought quads from you.

Good seller here folks, I'd recommend him if you're on the fence.

Yes, it's a Rega Jupiter from the very last days of the 20th Century...still going strong and sounding great!

Thanks for the recommendation, LexusGuy! I remember our transaction fondly, as well.

I have the excellent original shipping box from Ocellia...if you are interested! Would need to be freight due to the size.

Arrived safe and sound to me from Canada. They are uniquely beautiful sounding in my experience but took a looong time to fully break in.
