Sooooo, right now I have a Goldring 2400 mounted on a Pioneer PL 570 with lovely results!!! However, being who I am I noticed Clearaudio has a newish flagship MM cart-Charisma v2…… I lived blissfully with the original iteration of the Clearaudio Maestro for about 3 years before making the boneheaded move of trying to better it with a Benz Ruby (and in fact several other MC carts…..none of which could best the musicality of the Maestro)!!!!! Sooooo, having this knowledge, should I buy the Charisma v2 for “better” or stick with the Goldring 2400???

Indeed I did!! By far the best cart I’ve ever owned!!! Had that cart on three different TT’s up against other supposedly better carts and it bested all of them……. Think I’m getting closer to buying that Charisma…..😁

Sooooooo, been under the weather a bit since this little darling’s arrival. I did however, get it installed and relatively dialed in. I’ve only had a chance to listen to a couple of sides thus far but what I’ve heard I really like!!! It is everything my old Maestro was( by far the best sounding cart to my ears) and sooooo much more, more of everything!!! I get the detail and airiness of an MC and the sheer musicality of a really fine MM!!! More to follow after I get in some more critical listening!!!
