Oh my. I see a lot of the Pablo albums there that I have in my vinyl collection. When I started to seriously collect albums about 25 years ago, CDs were expensive and vinyl albums were cheap. Things have obviously changed since then.

Love the Pablo's in my collection. Most I got for a couple of bucks and always sound great. Got about half of the upcoming releases. There are some there are a definite pick up.

Pablo LP's are super cheap in shops and eBay. The pressings are excellent and the sound is amazing. Buy used, pay less, and be happy.

I saw that video pop up in my feed. Looks like the list price is even higher than the AP/Verve and AP/Contemporary reissues, which are around $38. So yeah...I'll pass. The Basie titles would interest me the most, but yeah, I've seen them in the used bins for years if I ever wanted them.

You should try a few titles. As an audiophile, you will be very impressed with the sound.

As others have noted, the original Pablos are excellent recordings and pressings—and often are in the bargain bins or simply inexpensive.
