Of course, it's 5/8". You Sir, really made my day. Altec used all manner of wood thicknesses for the 614. I've tried to figure out the 614 construction and dimensions from internet pictures but they were not making any sense.

Glad I can help! Now I just need to finish sanding, paint and slap some 604s in there and call it a day.
Thank you very much. For even more complete documentation could you measure the width of the frame that surrounds the baffle (all four sides to verify that it is identical on all four sides) and perhaps the radius of the corners of the cutout.
