Cricket & Art Nouveau.

It might seem a stretch to associate the game of cricket with Art Nouveau, but here's an example.

For a couple of years now, I've watched my overnight TV recordings of T20 matches played at different grounds in New Zealand. Many of these are from Wellington, New Zealand's capital.

There's an imposing building on the hill behind the ground that looks out over the sea.
Seen many times during the TV coverage of every game from there. But I've never heard a commentator mention it. So I looked it up

It's the country's war memorial memorial, to honour the nation's dead in the 1st World War and subsequent wars in which New Zealand troops served.
It was built in 1932 and houses a carillon. It's a very imposing structure.
