Ever evolving set up!

Hello everyone! I got the bug late in life to my wife’s dismay!
Current system consists of a sansui 4000 pushing Dynaco 25xl’s on top of a pair of General Electric dual cone g-502’s I picked up yesterday.
Riding the bench right now is a sansui qrx-6500 quadraphonic receiver and marantz 4060 quadradial. Speakers too many to list although the GE’s replaced a pair of Klipsch forte ones.

Kinda quiet in here. Recently got this one back from being restored and now back in the batting order!
The guy talking is the man who restored it for me.

So what determines which ones you listen to? I'm a reformed stacks-of-speakers-guy but sometimes miss the pile. That said I still have 5 pairs of speakers. They're just all in different setups or in storage.

Actually I listen to the Qrx-6500 with the Dynaco a-25’s, General electrics, and the altecs. I get pretty good separation with those. On the marantz 4060 quadradial I have the polk monitor 10’s and klipsch forte’s. This set up has a little more thump so when I want to rattle the floors I listen to it.
Mostly if I’m listening to old stuff (60’s,70’s) I use the sansui and more modern (80’s and up) I use the marantz set-up. Also if the wife’s out of the house the neighbors get to listen too!
