I was reminded of this by RichPA post about how audiophiles listen. It seems this list has both equipment and performance listening involved. I'm sure there is more and I look forward to the comments this document brings out.
[h=1]I always recommend this small tome to people who are interested. It's only a couple of bucks on Amazon because it was published in 1939 and is out of copyright. Copland gets to the heart of what music actually is.
