It's nothing fancy but it's where I enjoy spending time. It is undergoing room treatment planning with Mike from GIK Acoustics currently but hopefully will be finished up these next few months. I do not have my wide angle camera with me so pardon the iPhone photos. It might be hard to get a sense of the room so I will give the dimesnsions of 20x24x8 for reference.
Current setup is using a James Burgess 45/2A3 S.E.T. amplifier with custom transformers from Jack Elliano. Amplifiers are easily interchangeable with several to chose from including James Burgess Eiclone 6550 triode monoblocks, Steve Deckert Super Zen CKC monoblocks, and soon some 300b Thorsten Loesch “Legacy” circuit inspired monoblocks. A James Burgess tube preamp/phono stage, PeachTree Audio 65SE (serving as DAC), Modified AT1240 TT with AT33EV cartridge and Cardas wiring straight to the Burgess phono stage rounds things out. Media is also served up via an Otari MTR10-2, Teac 1040Sl, Akai 280D-SS and Akai X-150D Reel to Reel machines, a PC music server with over 25 terabytes of Hi-Rez files (including SACD, DVD-A, DSD, DXD, DTS Audio, FLAC and other formats), and plenty of great vinyl selections. All the above is playing through a pair of 100db sensitive GPA Altec 604H II speakers, custom Jeff Markwart crossovers and custom Stonehenge V cabinets or 105db efficient Klipschorn loudspeakers with an 18” servo driven Velodyne sub crossed over around 35Hz. Hopefully this wasn't too long winded or boring but I think I covered most as of now. Compared to some I do not really have any exotic or fancy speaker cables, interconnects or power cords . I have been chasing this passion off and on for 25 years and I'm really enjoying the music. If you are tapping your feet, nodding your head, or smiling that to me is what this is all about.
