RCA LC-1A (MI-11411) / MI-11401 SPEAKER CABINETS

Hello everyone ,

I am in the middle of planning a restoration of a pair of RCA LC-1A (MI-11411) / MI-11401 Speaker Cabinets.

I would like to do a very accurate restoration including the three colors of the cabinet:

CABINET TOP - DARK UMBER GREY

CABINET BODY - LIGHTER UMBER GREY

CABINET BOTTOM: BLACK

I am in conversations with extremely informative audiophiles with knowledge for the cabinets and would welcome others as well who own a pair of these units.

In addition, the woven nylon grill cloths, nickel plated metal bands and rear decals need to be replaced.

Many thanks in advance.

Hello,

Yes he has. His posts have been extremely useful.

His restoration is superb.

Thank you so much for the reply.

I wish I could contribute by owning a set but that’s not in the cards. You may already have done this but can you post pictures of what you are starting with?
