It's listed under the musical instruments category - maybe that reduces the ad views ? It is a sign @MrEd . ;)

I recall seeing posts from a member elsewhere who picked up a somewhat rare sut for a good price - they'd spelled the brand wrong in the ad so search engines wouldn't hit the ad during a search. It was meant to be....

Yeah these would suit my needs and they are fairly close, but I’ve got too much excess equipment, can’t spend that kind of money without letting something go:-/

I have been in contact with the seller. He seems to be willing to take some measurements of the dimensions that are undocumented for the "Iconic" version of the 614 enclosure. I will post the dimensions if/when I get them. The 614 enclosure would be a fairly easy build for someone with access to a basic woodshop.

I already have a pair of 605A speakers so I am not a competitor for anybody in this group wanting to buy Mike's speakers.

I'm not an Altec aficionado but don't those need a lot of cubic feet? 614's seem small.

The 614 is a modestly sized enclosure. Altec offered different baffles cut for 15, 12 or 8 inch speakers. The larger 612 would probably be the appropriate choice for the 604 series of duplex. The 605, the 601 and the Bicone series with their smaller magnets don't need as much volume to perform well. Sometimes it is not about deep, deep bass.
