Hi-fi 'collectors': tips for moving -- tip #1: don't ;-)

I feel you, Nate! It's why I have two of many tools because I couldn't find the one when I needed it. Figured it was more sensible, at the time, to go buy another rather than spend hours looking for the misplaced one.

My wife gets annoyed when I just go and buy another tool when I can't find the one I'm looking for, at least until she realizes that I've definitely hit the limit of frustration and the job won't get done otherwise.

I bet I need a router. Don't you think?

Should you stumble upon them in your searchings, these are my known missing items:

• 12mm wrench
• Mitutoyo dial caliper
• center punch
• Crescent wrench

Wow, short list. Mine would run to a page at the moment. To be quite honest I'm not sure some of the tools didn't go "walkies" after the fire with the "restoration" company in the house unattended. I know my two pairs of ice skates and a pair of rollerblades did.

My missing tool list is very short at 1 - it's whatever tool I need right now.
